Controversial Ghanaian pastor and founder of International God’s Way Church (IGWC), Bishop Daniel Obinim, has expressed frustration over his alleged tax payment of 23 billion cedis to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
According to the popular man of God, the authority has not been fair to him, stressing that his fellow men of God including Rev Obofour and Osofo Kyiriabosom, were both charged lesser amount. He detailed that Rev Obofour and Osofo Kyririabosom were made to pay Gh50,000 and Gh1,000,000,000 each respectfully while he, Obinim, was asked to pay Gh23,000,000,000.
Obinim made this known while speaking during one of his church services. According to him, when he questioned the institution as to why they were charging him such huge amount, he was told it was because he had several properties, here in Ghana and abroad
In the voice of the pastor, ”I had an issue with GRA and they told me that I was not the only person they are having an issue with. Mr Gyambrah, a well known officer of the company told me that. He told me they had similar issues with Rev Obofour and Osofo Kyiriabosom.They took Gh50,000 from Rev Obofour and Gh1,00,000,000 from Kyiriabosom. And they told me they will take Gh23,000,000,000 from me. I asked them why? And I was it is because they heard I have houses in China, london, America, Germany, Spain and so many other houses…and they showed me pictures of them as well as pictures of my cars.”
He continued, ”They went for my bank statement and showed it to mein their office. I paid Gh10,000,000,00 cash right away becuase what they were bringing me….i just dont want continue. I have really suffered.’

The famous Nigerian singer Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, has sadly lost his mother.
Wizkid’s mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Confirming the news, Sunday Are, Wizkid’s manager for a long time, shared that Mrs Balogun passed away during the early hours of Friday.
Yes, she passed away this morning, around 1:30 am,” said Sunday Aaare.
The late Mrs Balogun was also the mother of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun
